Introduction
There seems to be some NAT issues with the latest version of 3CX and Snom’s M-series DECT products, and this are causing problems with the incoming calls (no incoming calls on the handsets)
To solve this, some parameters need to be changed on the base station, and this can be done either via web interface or via configuration file.
Solution
- The first one can be found in the WUI by getting into the Multicell menu, it’s called «SIP Server support for multiple registrations per account» and it needs to be enabled (in the configuration file, this is called «network_roaming_deregister«)
- The other three can be found in the WUI by getting into the «Network» menu, and they needs to be set as follows.
- «STUN Bindtime Determine» needs to be disabled («sip_stun_bindtime_determine» in the configuration file)
- «STUN Bindtime Guard» needs to be set to 30 («sip_stun_bindtime_guard» in the configuration file)
- «Keep Alive Time» needs to be set to 30 («stun_binding_interval» in the configuration file)
- To make this work, the whole DECT chain and handsets needs to be rebooted, so that they can use the new parameters after starting up again.
- We recommend removing the provisioning URL from 3CX if there is one, since the «STUN Bindtime Guard» and «Keep Alive Time» would be provisioned to a value that is different from 30.
To do so, please go to «Management» → Configuration → Configuration Server Address: an delete everything in the Input field
